The film will be directed by Christophe Gans, who also directed 2006’s Silent Hill movie. A variety of storyboards and pieces of concept art were shown during the video, giving fans a brief look at the sort of film they can expect. Gans says they’re “going back to the best of these stories … I mean Silent Hill 2,” which implies the film will heavily draw from said game.
Producer Victor Hadida joins Gans to discuss the collaboration between Konami and the filmmakers, followed by the two discussing what it is about Silent Hill that is so appealing and enduring.

The town is surrounded by a potent darkness, and the human survivors fight a losing battle against it.”
