Harrison Ford Praises Ke Huy Quan in Everything Everywhere All at Once

Ke Huy Quan’s role in 2022’s Everything Everywhere All at Once catapulted the actor back into stardom and has earned him numerous award nominations. According to legendary actor and former co-star Harrison Ford, an Academy Award nomination would also be well-earned.

Speaking to Variety recently, Ford — who starred with a much younger Quan in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom — praised the actor for his role in the hit A24 film.

“I’ve had the opportunity to see the film,” Ford said. “He is really terrific in his movie. And I’m so glad to see him … and what he has become. I’m so happy for him. He’s such a happy guy, too.”

Ford also touched on getting to reunite with the actor during this year’s D23 Expo, when the pair were famously seen hugging and then posing for a photograph afterward. Ford said that it was “great” to see him, and after talking about Everything Everywhere All at Once, was told that Quan would “probably” get an Academy Award nomination for the performance, to which Ford replied, “And well deserved! Well deserved.”

Everything Everywhere All At Once centers around a Chinese immigrant woman as she discovers that the multiverse is real and that she can access the skills and lives of other versions of herself. Because of this, she suddenly finds herself in the middle of a wild adventure where she must save the world.

The film stars Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians), Ke Huy Quan (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom), Stephanie Hsu (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Jenny Slate (Gifted), and Harry Shum Jr. (Glee), with James Hong (Big Trouble in Little China) and Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween Kills).

Everything Everywhere All At Once is written and directed by directing duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert a.k.a. the Daniels. Joe and Anthony Russo are producing through their AGBO banner, along with Ley Line Entertainment and Jonathan Wang. Eli Bush and Mike Larocca are among the executive producers, along with Josh Rudnick, Timothy Headington, and Theresa Steele Page.
