NetherRealm Studios has released a new Mortal Kombat 1 video featuring actor and wrestler John Cena as he discusses his DLC character, Peacemaker. The character is now available to purchase for anyone who didn’t already have him through the game‘s Season Pass.
In the video, Cena discusses how well the DC antihero fits into Mortal Kombat 1, stating he was “made for” it. He then says that the game’s roster is stacked, as Peacemaker can take on “Hall of Famers” like Scorpion and Sub-Zero. As the video goes on, Peacemaker’s X-Ray attack and one of his Fatalities can be seen in vivid and violent detail.

What is part of Mortal Kombat 1’s new season?
Over 150 rewards are included in the new season, including character skins – Monster at Heart Mileena, Blazing Hunter Liu Kang, High and Low Hunter Smoke, and First Sight Kenshi – all earnable through Invasions and Kombat League. Season 4: The Huntress is available now until April 16.
