Wondering whether HBO has renewed or canceled Industry for Season 5? You’ve come to the right place. Following the release of the final episode of Season 4, speculation about the show’s future has intensified among fans.
Here are all the details on the status of the show’s next installment.
Is Industry Season 5 renewed or canceled?
Industry has officially been renewed for Season 5 by HBO. The next season will be the final installment of the series.
In a joint statement, the show’s creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay reflected on their journey with HBO, expressing deep gratitude and pride in being part of the network’s prestigious legacy while saluting the unwavering support and creative faith that helped bring Industry to life. The statement read (via Variety):
“We’re privileged to have joined the small, esteemed club of dramas that have run for five seasons on HBO. This March marks a decade since we first began to conceive of the world of ‘Industry’ and it exists because of the unwavering faith and vision of our partners and former partners at HBO — Casey, Frannie, Kara, Cela, Sam, Kathleen, and Max. Without Jane Tranter’s imagination and belief, the show would simply be a dead idea in a drawer somewhere. She — alongside her partners at Bad Wolf — has been our guiding light and fiercest champion. We’d also like to thank the BBC for their partnership.”
Industry has grown in popularity with every passing season. Season 4 reportedly averaged 1.7 million viewers per episode across all platforms in the United States. This is roughly 30% ahead of the previous season.
The series cast features Kiernan Shipka, Ken Leung, Marisa Abela, Edward Holcroft, Kal Penn, Miriam Petche, Kit Harington, Claire Forlani, Toheeb Jimoh, Andrew Havill, Charlie Heaton, and more.
