Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is the forthcoming DCU movie that will be released in 2026. Directed by Craig Gillespie (I, Tonya, Dumb Money), the film will see House of the Dragon’s Milly Alcock play Kara Zor-El.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Krumholtz and Beecham have now joined the cast of the movie. The two of them will play Kara’s parents.

Krumholtz is best known for playing Bernard in Disney’s The Santa Clause franchise. He recently played Isidor Isaac Rabi in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, while his filmography also includes 1999’s 10 Things I Hate About You, 2004’s Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, 2004’s Ray, 2005’s Serenity, 2007’s Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, 2016’s Sausage Party, 2018’s The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, and more.

In television, Krumholtz has had roles in shows such as Freaks and Geeks, Numb3rs, The Playboy Club, Partners, The Good Wife, and The Deuce, among other titles.

Beecham has starred in movies such as 2007’s 28 Weeks Later, 2016’s Hail, Caesar!, 2017’s Daphne, 2019’s Little Joe, 2021’s Cruella, 2023’s Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant, and more.

Who else is starring in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow?

Along with Alcock, Krumholtz, and Beecham, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will star Eve Ridley as Ruthye, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, and Jason Momoa as Lobo. The movie is based on Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s DC Comics series, which debuted in 2021, of the same name.

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will be released in United States theaters on June 26, 2026, as part of the DCU’s first chapter, which is titled “Gods and Monsters.”

Prior to that, James Gunn’s Superman movie, which will be the first feature film entry in the DCU, hits theaters this coming July.
